Jebel Ali Port plays an important role in serving the global markets with over 180 shipping lines and more than 90 weekly services connecting the Jebel Ali port to over 140 ports around the planet. Jebel Ali Port's Container Terminals are three and are equipped with a total of 23 berths and 78 cranes to handle the world’s largest container ships. The facility can accommodate vessels of any size in existence and on the order book for the years to come. The largest vessel handled by the Jebel Ali Container Terminal facility for now is CMA CGM Marco Polo having capacity of 16,020 TEU, 396 m LOA in January 2013.
